Brad Pitt isn’t angry that Angelina Jolie supposedly took subtle digs at him in her recent Vanity Fair interview, despite a bogus tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim.
The actress discussed her divorce from Pitt in a new Vanity Fair cover story, during which she said their six children are “all just healing from the events that led to the [divorce] filing.” She added, “They’re not healing from divorce. They’re healing from life, from some things in life.” An article in the latest issue of In Touch now claims Jolie’s comments were a “pointed way of saying that the kids are healing from Brad.”
A supposed “source” tells the magazine, “He’s hurt. He feels she’s still making him out to be the villain and can’t stand that. The jabs are just going to continue.” During the interview, Jolie also spoke about cooking for the kids and striving to be a great mother, prompting the outlet’s dubious insider to add, “He feels like Angelina did a lot of acting to portray him as the bad guy and blame him for tearing the family apart.”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Pitt, who exclusively assures us he’s “not mad” about his estranged wife’s interview, nor did he feel like she was taking any shots at him. In Touch may have interpreted Jolie’s comments as an attack, but the actor didn’t and he isn’t upset over the cover story. This is simply a non-issue.
Of course, Gossip Cop has repeatedly called out the tabloid for publishing fake news about the exes, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise. We recently busted the magazine’s phony cover story claiming Pitt stopped Jolie’s alleged plans to marry a wealthy British entrepreneur. Shortly before that nonsense, we corrected the publication’s bogus cover story alleging Pitt won custody of the ex-couple’s children. This latest article is simply more lies from the unreliable outlet.
