A Filipina OFW shares her experience inside a bus in Hong Kong.
Apparently, a Chinese woman began yelling at her and discriminating her race.
She kept calm and did not fight back the fuming woman.
It’s just sad that OFWs can sometimes get badly treated when all they want is to help their families in the Philippines. However, this OFW is admired for keeping calm while a woman yelled at her inside a bus in Hong Kong.
The Filipina chose to share her experience through a Facebook post. She described the angry Chinese woman as ‘disrespectful, racist, and judgmental.’
Angela Sentillas Pasco entered a bus in Kwai Chung and sat beside a woman whose bag lies on her seat. There was no space left between them and it became quite tight. The woman started complaining and screaming that the Filipina was too fat. In addition, the Chinese woman screamed that Pasco should leave the vehicle.
Still, after some time, the woman would not stop yelling. The Filipina then decided to record a video of the ranting through her phone. Pasco kept saying that the woman should stop speaking in Chinese. However, the only things that she uttered in English were ‘swear words’ to insult the OFW.
