She Slices Bubble Wrap Into Strips, Then Twists Them In Her Hair Before Bed For Heatless Curls

As someone with stubbornly stick-straight hair, I’m always looking for easy ways to give my locks a little oomph. I’m an especially big fan of methods for heatless curls that don’t damage my hair or — considering how clumsy I am with curling wands — burn my skin.

Lucky for me, bloggers have come up with plenty of amazing techniques using all sorts of objects to get the job done. Everything from ordinary drinking straws to a petite water balloons have proven themselves capable of giving follicles extra volume while you sleep.

The video below, however, shows how five totally unique methods produce subtly different curl results for blogger Nicole Skyes, who shares her beauty tips and tests on YouTube and Instagram.

Nicole compiled four of her previous videos before revealing what she’d be using for her newest heatless curl test: bubble wrap.

It might sound a little strange, but considering she’s used toilet paper and socks with success in the past, as you can see below, it actually makes a lot of sense.

Plus, you know the squishy material won’t bother you while you try to fall asleep with them pinned to your head at night.

Take a look to see all of Nicole’s heatless curls and how each one held up afterwards.
