Although less known, Kate Capshaw can still be recognized, but only by few. When you see Jessica, you instantly see the lesbian hottie from “Grey’s Anatomy”, and you’re instantly reminded of her constant drama with her ex-wife (sorry to spoil it) Callie. One could claim that Dr. Robbins is probably one of the best characters on the show, in my honest opinion. The Capshaw family has moved to New York to pursue Kate’s modeling career. Jessica’s parents divorced when she was really young and Jessica got involved with the new glamorous world her mother was in. Her mother married Steven Spielberg when she was 15. Jessica Capshaw married Christopher Gavigan on May 22, 2004, and they have four children together.
