Jamie Lee Curtis is a great actress with such a young spirit and a witty sense of humor. It’s hard to recognize her parents as they are both actors from decades ago, but obviously she is carrying the torch of her skilled mom and dad. . Jamie Lee Curtis was born in Santa Monica, California to actress Janet Leigh and actor Tony Curtis. Both of her paternal and maternal grandparents were European immigrants. Jamie Lee Curtis’s parents divorced in 1962, after which her mother married Robert Brandt. Curtis says that her father is a humble man; he never showed them his acting parts when Jamie and her siblings were young. She has very pleasant memories of meeting Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks and Nicole Kidman on set.
