Woman posts live updates of nervous passenger's first flight – and it's really sweet

A woman livetweeted her fellow passenger's first time on a plane, and it was delightful.

Elaine Filadelfo found herself sitting next to a 60-year-old lady called Sue while flying from Los Angeles to San Francisco.

Sue's adventure was so charming and captivating that Virgin America upgraded her seat.

She wasn't at all upset by the two-hour delay, either, despite the fact she was flying just 90 minutes to visit her daughter for a surprise trip.

Sue's excitement was palpable

Elaine, who works for Twitter, captured Sue's excitement. Word quickly spread, and the pilot even went to welcome her on board.

Elaine also said Sue was really "nervous" and had to hold her hand through takeoff. The only upsetting part was some turbulence, but Sue got through it, says news.au.

Here's Sue's first flight...
