The Cultural Village Foundation - Katara has geared up for the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations, all set to offer a variety of activities to make it a hotspot during the Eid.

The festivities are tailored to cover all age groups to suit families especially the children, where a playground consisting many entertainment games and activities has been dedicated along the Katara corniche starting at 5pm.

Eid gifts and money will also be distributed to the children like every Eid to spread happiness among them.

In addition to that, the Al Thuraya Planetarium located in Katara will screen three movies in the second day of Eid about space and a journey in a space shuttle and the fascinating 3d show "dawn in the space shuttle" in different timings whereas 5pm and 7pm will be screened in English while 6pm will be in Arabic.

Theatre lovers will enjoy an amazing play "the cake vendor" all along the Eid days starting at 5:00pm in the first day of Eid and at 5pm and 7pm in the following days until June 9.

The festivities will be concluded with fireworks at 8:00pm with many colourful images in the sky for visitors to take photos with.

The Katara beach will also be open daily from 7:00am offering different watersports for for the visitors.
