An expat has been arrested on charges of murder, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced.The accused, according to ROP, was an expat of “Arab nationality”. However, no further information on his country of origin or the case was made available.
In an online statement, ROP said, "In cooperation with military and security units, an expat national of Arab nationality has been arrested on charges of murder in the wilayat of Thamrait." It added. The accused, according to ROP, tried to escape the country and the legal proceedings are underway.
