Expat arrested for murder in Oman

An expat has been arrested on charges of murder in Wilayat Bahla, the Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced.

According to ROP officials, the accused is an expat of ‘Asian nationality’. The authorities have not disclosed any details of the crime.

ROP said in an online statement: “The Dhakliyah Police Command in co-operation with Criminal Investigation Department in Bahla managed to arrest an expat of 'Asian nationality' over murder charges in Wilayat Bahla."

"Legal procedures against the accused are currently under way,” the statement continued.
