An expat has been arrested for attempting to smuggle alcohol in Nothern Batinah, the Royal Oman Police has announced.
The bottled alcohol was found in boxes placed in the back seat and boot of the vehicle.
In a statement online, ROP said: ”The Northen Batinah police command arrested an expat on charges of trading alcohol in the Wilayat of Sohar.”
Legal procedures have been taken against the individual.
