Expats arrested in Oman for buying diesel illegally

Eight expats were arrested when they attempted to illegally purchase diesel from a concession area in Oman.

A statement by the Royal Oman Police read, "The investigations directorate at the Oil and Gas Institution Security Headquarters has apprehended eight expats of an Asian nationality at oil concession areas when they attempted to buy and sell flammables (diesel) in an illegal manner, breaking related laws.

Legal proceedings against them are currently underway."
