The Al Meera hypermarket stores will distribute food boxes with the essentials food items named ‘Meerat Ramadan’ (Ramadan food supply) in a bid to share the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan with the needy people.
The box contains rice, sugar, cooking oil, pasta, oats, milk, tea, lentil, dates and some other Ramadan sweets.
The initiative comes with approaching of Ramadan and opens doors for charity activities and enhances a spirit of brotherhood and solidarity within the society.
Qatar witnesses many charity initiatives during the Holy Month of Ramadan, especially in the labour camps where food is constantly distributed among the low-income workers.
