An Arab woman slashed her wrists following an argument with her husband, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, the woman was referred to Mubarak Hospital following the incident. After she was given the necessary treatment, she revealed about her attempt to commit suicide because of the argument. A case was registered.

Wanted man held: Police have taken into custody a Kuwaiti for violating traffic law, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the man was seen obstructing traffic on the Salem Al-Mubarak Street and after police were informed they rushed to the spot and confronted the man. However, police records also showed the man was wanted by law for failing to pay KD 20,000 to two companies. He has been handed over to the concerned authorities.

Blogger jailed: The Criminal Court has sentenced Ahmad Al-Saleh to five years in prison for making a false accusation on YouTube and misusing the phone, reports Al-Rai daily. The Public Prosecutor’s Office charged the man with disseminating false news through his YouTube site and misused the phone, through the program which bears his name.
