An Omani woman has been arrested for murdering an African woman in Dhofar after physically assaulting and setting her ablaze, Royal Oman of Oman (ROP) has said.
The ROP put a statement out saying, "The Department of the Criminal Investigation of Dhofar police arrested a woman over a murder charge."
An official source at the ROP said that the accused assaulted, beat and put an inflammable substance on her, which led to her death. "The woman admitted to her crime and was referred to the judicial authorities for further investigation and trial," police added.
