Muscat: Monday, 12, December 2016 will be a public holiday on the occasion of the Prophet’s Birthday.

H.E Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Royal Diwan, issued a decision declaring that Monday, 12 December 2016 is an official public holiday for ministry employees, public authorities and other state administrative positions in commemoration of the Prophet’s Birthday.

The Ministry of Manpower also issued an announcement that the holiday will include private sector establishments.
