A staff nurse at a government hospital in Negros, Philippines, is now slowly gaining worldwide attention after her painting style was has left many in awe.
Though Kimberly Joy Magbanua is a nurse by profession, she is an artist at heart. While she helps save lives most of the day, she comes home to her paint and canvass. After a tiring day at work, creating stunning paintings is what eases her mind and body.
However, unlike most artists, Magbanua does not use a paintbrush. Instead, she paints with something she uses every day: a syringe, a device made of a hollow tube and a needle that is used to force fluids into or take fluids out of the body.
Her creations are so stunningly unique that Magbanua made headlines in different online news sites around the globe. Her artwork often features birds, other animals, and images of Jesus Christ.
Magbanua also specializes in other techniques such as watercolor painting.
