Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Danilo Henson was killed while standing just miles away from his house last Saturday evening.
What’s worst is the fact that Henson just arrived in the country with his wife JenetCapalad from Saudi Arabia when the incident happened.
Their relatives were just getting their luggage from the car when Danilo was shot. He was instantly rushed to the hospital but he later passed away.
“Napakasakitsaamin Ma’am naganunnalang. Bastabastanalangpatayin,” says Raymond Henson, brother of the victim.
But two days after the crime took place, police authorities were able to pinpoint the suspects of the crime. They arrested the wife of Henson and RodelGuico, friend of the victim.
Police authorities see love triangle as the motive of the crime.
“Napaamin koy ung lalaki, hindi pa inamin ng babae. Kapatid ng victim ang ng confirm na talagang may relasyo nitong siGuico Rodel at Janneth,” says Supt. Roderick Tonga, Chief of Lipa City PNP.
Before the incident, Guico was the one who fetches them in the airport and drove them home. However, text messages which were found in the mobile phones of the suspects led to the conclusion of investigators that they are indeed responsible for the death of Danilo.
Some eyewitnesses also shared their side of the story.
