Pakistan Embassies Resume Passport Services in UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar

The Pakistan Embassies in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar resumed passport services today. Officials officially restarted these crucial processing services on Tuesday.

Services Resume Across the Gulf

Applicants can now visit the embassies to apply for new passports. They can also process standard travel document renewals in person.

The UAE mission originally suspended these services on April 29. Officials blamed unexpected technical reasons for the temporary pause. The Abu Dhabi embassy also recently reopened after the Labour Day holiday.

Qatar Restarts Operations

The Pakistan Embassy in Qatar also resumed passport operations today. Applicants can visit the Doha embassy during specified timings to apply. The mission previously paused these services on Sunday.

The recent disruption affected passport operations across all Pakistani foreign missions worldwide. Officials cited major technical issues at the Passport Headquarters in Islamabad. Diplomats sincerely apologized for the inconvenience to all local residents.
