Ballistic missile intercepted in southern Saudi Arabia

A ballistic missile from Yemen was intercepted on Thursday by Saudi air defense forces in the southern city of Khamis Mushayt in the southwestern province of Asir.

The missile attack is the second since November 4 when a missile was intercepted near King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.

The Arab League said on November 19 that since the beginning of the conflict in Yemen 78 ballistic missiles had been fired toward Saudi Arabia from Yemen.
