Not Models, Drones Wore The Clothes And Flew Down The Ramp At This Fashion Show In Saudi Arabia

Pictures and videos model-less fashion show in Saudi Arabia have sent netizens to a tizzy.

The country known to have extremely rules against women has no other choice but to host fashion shows with 'ghosts' for models.

No really, there's a dress literally being flown around with the help of a freaking drone across the ramp-walk.

Clothes and accessories from top designers including Dolce & Gabbana sailed down the runway hanging from a drone, reported the New Arab.

Fashion shows in the hyper-conservative kingdom are traditionally sober affairs, with only women allowed in the audience and male fashion designers not even allowed backstage at their own show, reports timesofmalta.

And people couldn't get over how ridiculous this looked

The event organizers said this was the first time a drone was used for a fashion show in the kingdom, while Twitter called it as “fashion for ghosts.”

The conservative kingdom hosted its first ever fashion week organized by the Arab Fashion Council in Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh, in April, which was held in the presence of fashion legends like Jean Paul Gaultier and Roberto Cavalli.
