Social media has been abuzz in Saudi Arabia after videos circulated showing Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman enjoying lunch among youth in NEOM.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman participated in the weekly cabinet meeting held by the Council of Ministers held in the NEOM area in Tabuk under the chairmanship of Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.

The meeting between the young Saudis and the crown prince took place near Sharma beach in Tabuk where the new upcoming megacity NEOM project is currently being built.

Mansour al-Sharari, who appeared in a short clip with the crown prince, said they were in a location in Sharma, close to the sea before the royal arrived during his tour of several locations in the area.

“The words of the crown prince were encouraging for us, and he shook hands with each person in the group,” Sharari said. The group came from different parts of Saudi Arabia like Riyadh, Taif and Qrayyat and were in Sharma to take a cruise on the shores of NEOM.
