As we all are aware of the incident when the USA suffered from shocking terrorist attacks on 11 September 2001, which caused the death of total 2,996 people and more than 6,000 people injured and destroyed the infrastructure of billions of dollars.
After the terrible attacks, the U.S District Court portrayed that Saudi Arabia was funding Al-Qaeda (the terrorist group) who was involved in 9/11 attacks, as well as 15 from those 19 terrorists, were Saudis.
The statement of funding the terrorist group was initially rejected by the Saudi Lawyers but still, hundreds of relatives of the affected families are trying to sue Saudi Arabia as the responsible for the attacks as it is said by Western News and media.
It was again claimed very recently by congressional actions, that Saudi Arabia was behind the 9/11 attacks, the judge who previously rejected the argument of Saudi Arabia involvement in the 9/11 attacks again started expressing the doubts.
George B. Daniels US District judge in Manhattan questioned lawyers of affected families and survivors of the 9/11 attacks and the attorneys of Saudi Arabia during the hearing and he did not immediately announce the written decision as it was to be announced later.
The Congress passed the 2016 justice against the Sponsors of Terrorism Act over then-President Barack Obama’s rejection which led to further arguments and claims against Saudi Arabia after these claims were once rejected.
The 15 yeas old litigation claimed that Saudi Arabia could be held accountable in the terrorist attacks even if it never agreed to support the terrorist group Al-Qaeda or even it was not aware of the money it gave as charities in the Middle East countries may have made it to Usama bin Laden’s group.
