Iraq just secured the final spot for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This massive tournament will feature 48 teams competing across North America. Fans can expect 104 thrilling matches in 16 different host cities.

Meanwhile, the Democratic Republic of the Congo beat Jamaica 1-0. Turkiye, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, and Czechia also secured the final European spots.

A Historic Tournament

The 2026 World Cup marks the biggest event in football history. Canada, Mexico, and the United States will co-host this massive global competition.

Argentina will actively defend their championship trophy with iconic captain Lionel Messi. Four unique nations will make their very first World Cup appearances. Fans will enthusiastically welcome Cape Verde, Curacao, Jordan, and Uzbekistan this summer.
