Located roughly 30km from Muscat is the 750,000 sq. meter Al Naseem Public Park. This park has several lush areas which are ideal for picnics or walks and is a great place for children to play. In addition to having an amazing children's playground, Al Nassem Public Park also has facilities for its visitors to engage in volleyball, tennis, basketball and football. The stunning Japanese Garden, constructed by the Japanese Embassy in Oman in the year 2000, is also located at the Al Naseem Public Park premises.
