The first tournament in the 2017 Dubai Polo Gold Cup Series, the McLaren Cup is an 18-goal handicap tournament held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. This is the eighth edition of the McLaren Cup, which is played under the banner of the Hurlingham Polo Association and is considered one of the premier polo tournaments worldwide.
This high-profile event attracts VIPs, society figures and senior corporate executives who enjoy not only the polo match but also the variety of high-class entertainment, including international DJs and a showcase of McLaren luxury sports cars. St. Regis serves its 5-star The Regis Brunch every Friday on the terrace overlooking the polo fields, so weekend polo attendees can dine in style.
