Saudi Arabia Fines Clinics Over Expat Medical Exams

Saudi Arabia tightened its oversight of medical examinations for expatriate workers today. The Ministry of Health warned healthcare facilities about strict new rules.

Facing Heavy Financial Penalties

Clinics face fines up to 100,000 riyals for violating approved procedures. Inspectors will verify equipment calibration and staff qualifications closely. They will also target any practices that compromise the accuracy of examination results.

Protecting Public Health

The ministry wants to safeguard public health and ensure accurate test results. Officials might close violating facilities for 60 days or revoke their licenses entirely. The government promises to continue these intense inspection efforts indefinitely.
