While many people seem to think that almost anyone could be an actor, they are completely wrong. An actor’s job is not only tough but also demanding – it takes serious dedication to prepare for a role and serious self-discipline to overcome your own feelings towards the co-stars you hate.

You see, not all actors get along with their co-stars. Some of them are absolutely disgusted by each other and want nothing to do with one another. Unfortunately, staying away from a co-star you hate is not really possible especially if the two of you are playing lovers or best friends.

But professional actors know how to hide their hatred and repulsion. Even though an actor may hate his co-star, he or she will still do a great job and perhaps might even fool the audience into thinking that there is chemistry, not only between the characters but also between the actors themselves.

10. Patrick Swayze Was Annoyed By Jennifer Grey’s Emotional Instability

The 1987 film Dirty Dancing has become an iconic film. The two main characters in the film were Johnny and Baby, played by Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. But while they may seem to be getting along just fine in the film, it wasn’t so easy in real life.

Apparently, Swayze was disgusted with Grey’s lack of professionalism and her emotional instability. In his memoir, Swayze confessed that he was impatient with Grey and did not appreciate having to constantly do retakes – “We did have a few moments of friction when we were tired or after a long day of shooting. [Grey] seemed particularly emotional, sometimes bursting into tears if someone criticized her. Other times, she slipped into silly moods, forcing us to do scenes over and over again when she’d start laughing.”

See the photo of Grey laughing and Swayze looking exasperated above? Well, that’s not good acting – Swayze was actually annoyed because Grey could not hold in her giggles. The team later decided to use this blooper in the film.

9. Angelina Jolie Was Repulsed By Johnny Depp’s Oral Hygiene And Forced Him To Drink Listerine

Nowadays everyone knows that the actor Johnny Depp is not very good at taking care of himself, especially when it comes to hygiene. It is said that he often skips baths and does not care much for oral hygiene either.

As you can imagine, his co-stars find his lack of hygiene quite disturbing but few are brave enough to say anything to the iconic actor. The actress Angelina Jolie, however, was brave enough (and disgusted enough) to demand that Depp start using breath mints and Listerine before their kissing scenes.
