Delhi: Heavy rains, thunderstorms forecast for two days

Delhiites are finally going to get some relief from the prevalent heat and humidity as the national capital would witness heavy rains and thunderstorms for two days.

Delhi and its neighboring areas would receive moderate to heavy rainfall today and tomorrow.

Delhi's Regional Weather Forecasting Centre said the temperature would drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius due to showers on 22-23 September.

Maximum temperature remained high in Delhi: Officials

Delhi RWFC officials said a maximum temperature of 35.4-degree Celsius was recorded on 21 September, which is higher than the average for the season.

The minimum temperature on the same day was 24.8-degree Celsius; however, the humidity remained high between 54-88%.

Officials expect the maximum temperature to be around 32-degree Celsius and the minimum to be around 25-degree Celsius for today.
