Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 recoveries reaches 22

A patient tested positive for COVID – 19 has recuperated, health authorities said Friday, raising the total number of recovered cases in the country to 22.

Government figures show that 151 positive cases have been identified in Sri Lanka which has recorded a case fatality rate of 2.6 percent after four deaths were confirmed within a week.

The health ministry said that 125 people suspected to have contracted the virus are currently under medical observation in the country.
