Dubai: UAE resident families may now apply for a free Fazaa discount membership, launched in partnership with the Family Ministry under the “Year of the Family 2026” initiative. The programme is intended to give households access to hundreds of thousands of discounts and services on everything from everyday spending to travel and entertainment.

What are the benefits of the Fazaa family membership?

This new membership programme offers resident families access to a wide range of services and discounts that touch on various aspects of everyday life.

These include:

• Promotions and discounts at over 34,000 merchants within the UAE and beyond

• Membership also includes discounts on more than 28,000 food and consumer products at Fazaa stores.

• Discounts on accommodation and travel packages at more than 500,000 hotels worldwide through the “Fazaa Places” service

• 70% off tickets and entertainment activities through the Fazaa application.

• Offers on premium products and services.

Who is eligible and what are the rules?

The initiative includes a series of eligibility criteria and application rules that families should be mindful of:

• This is a totally free of charge membership, specifically for families living in the UAE (1 child or more). No fees apply

• During 2026, people can register for the initiative. In the event of difficulties applying, please attempt again later and resubmit your application

• The application for registration is made by either the husband or wife, and the membership will be issued in applicant’s name

• One membership is issued per family

• In case of an existing active Fazaa membership, a separate Family membership will be issued and you will hold two valid memberships at the same time.

• You'll get your membership within 72 working hours

• Applications can be made from mobile phones or computers, and documents can be uploaded through computers

• But if you have a problem taking a clear image of Emirates ID, please re-do it with better lighting. If the problem persists, using a computer or iPad to apply allows you to upload documents

• Make sure to check your Spam or Junk folders if you do not get the One-Time Password (OTP) on your email

• If you have had an email address already registered in connection to Fazaa, then please register with a different one when applying.

When the link is opened, you have to provide the following information:
Full name
Email address
Mobile number
Emirate
Nationality 2 — applicant and spouse Emirates ID number
Applicant, spouse and child Emirates ID uploads

How long does approval take?

Application is the only step you are taking, and once approved, you'd receive an email confirming your application status with the required details and a link to activate it through Fazaa Mobile app. However, requests may take longer to be approved than anticipated due to high volume.
