Ajman Municipality and Planning Department has reviewed the final preparations for its upcoming beach development project ahead of its official opening. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of the department, visited the site to inspect the progress and completed facilities. The project is part of Ajman's wider efforts to improve its waterfront and create more attractive public spaces. It also supports the objectives of Ajman Urban Plan 2040 and the emirate's Vision 2030. The development is expected to provide residents and visitors with improved recreational opportunities.
New Facilities to Improve the Beachfront Experience
The upgraded beachfront is designed to offer a combination of natural surroundings and modern recreational facilities. The development includes an expanded beach area, additional open spaces and landscaping improvements. These features aim to create a welcoming environment for families, residents and tourists. Officials highlighted the importance of providing accessible outdoor destinations where people can enjoy leisure activities. The project is also expected to improve the overall appearance and attractiveness of Ajman's coastline.
Walking and Cycling Paths to Encourage Healthy Living
One of the important features of the development is a sports walkway and cycling path along the Corniche.
