8 Why you shouldn’t pop out a pimple
When you develop acne, the skin tightens around the pore of a pimple. That traps acne inside which grows but does not flow towards the surface of the skin. If you squeeze a pimple the walls of the pores are injured which results in more inflammation due to the stimulation of bacteria inside the pimple. When you squeeze out pus and oil, skin then starts growing over the wound blocking the acne inside it. This may then result in a nodule or nasty cyst. That is why you should not pop pimples. Instead you should use some of these remedies mentioned below.
9 Benzoyl peroxide to pimples
The most common and frequently used antiseptic for skin inflammation. The chemical fizzes out and foams over the bacteria killing it in a dual action. Hydrogen peroxide as one of its ingredients releases oxygen that retards the acne and kills it. Benzoic acid then prevents the bacteria from processing glucose for cellular regeneration. Whatever bacteria survive then becomes dormant.
