Eid Al Adha 2019 date announced in Kuwait

The Saudi Arabia stock exchange had also announced a long holiday for the upcoming Eid Al Adha celebrations.

Kuwaiti meteorologist and historian Adel al Saadoun said on Saturday, July 27, that Eid Al Adha will fall on Sunday, August 11.

He told KUNA that the first of Dhu al-Hijjah month will be on Friday, August 2 and standing on Mount Arafat will be on Saturday, August 10.

The Saudi Arabia stock exchange had also announced a long holiday for the upcoming Eid Al Adha celebrations on on July 22. 

It will observe a holiday starting August 9 until August 17-a nine-day break.

 

"The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) is pleased to announce that Eid Al Adha will commence on 8-8-2019 (7th of Dhu al-Hijjah1440). Accordingly trading will be as follows: Trading will discontinue at the end of trading day 8-8-2019 (7th of Dhu al-Hijjah1440), and trading will resume after the holiday on 18-8-2019 (17th of Dhu al-Hijjah1440)," the exchange said.
