Abu Dhabi had revised maternity leave laws last year.
Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, has approved the new maternity law granting Dubai government employees three months of paid maternity leave starting March 1, the Dubai Media Office announced on Twitter.
Dubai is now the third emirate to have recently revised its laws to give an extended maternity leave to mothers, after Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
