I don't know anyone who doesn't have a salon horror story.
You know the feeling — your favorite stylist in the world (that you spent your life searching for) has moved to a different city, and now you're stuck with finding a new stylist who can tend to you in the same loving way.
This means putting your head in the hands of a stranger. You hope they had good training, you hope they know what to do with brassy AF hair, but all you can do is take the leap.
Case in point: I've walked out of salons with hair yellower than the sun. And my mom has left the salon with a purple mushroom cut after asking for copper lowlights in her long, blond hair.
Unsurprisingly, Mom and I aren't the only ones who have fallen victim to this. These poor folks didn't even know what was coming...
