Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are getting on better than ever since their shock split, according to their friends.
The Hollywood superstars have put their break-up behind them for the sake of their six children.
And divorce proceedings have slowed down.
Brad, 53, who says he has stopped boozing, is regularly in contact with Angelina, 42.
A source close to the movie couple say they getting along better now than they have in years.
he source said: “Angie hasn’t forgotten how he saw her through her breast-removal surgery and her terrible cancer-fearing times.
“Brad’s tender and supportive side has been hugely missed.
“They’ve come back together better people.”
Another insider close to the couple said: “The good news overall is they are getting along and doing what they can for their kids so things are in a lot better place now than they were a year ago .”
Angelina had accused Brad of being abusive to their kids Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Shiloh, 11, Zahara, 12. and twins Vivienne and Knox, nine.
Now he claims he has cleaned up with his only vice being cranberry juice and fizzy water.
The star also admitted his parenting style needed amending and he revealed he had sought therapy.
