More Than 200 Hummingbirds Live With A Woman

Melanie Barboni is an assistant researcher in the UCLA Earth, Planetary and Space Science program. She has a unique introduction, she is known as the hummingbird whisperer. She has developed a relationship with over 200 hummingbirds and live a s a community right outside her office.

If this wasn’t amazing enough, these sweet birds start to complain if Melanie is late in serving them their dinner.

Melanie is from Switzerland and has been obsessed with the birds of this species since childhood. She had always dreamed of seeing one since her country has no trace of these birds. To her joy, she got a job in Los Angeles where these birds find their natural habitat all-around the year.

Her fondness for the birds is evident with the way she cares for them and how they reciprocate.
