There's a reason Ranveer Singh is a superstar and such a method actor. We have seen before also how RS goes out of his way to give his best shot to his character in every film. Continuing the approach, Ranveer made sure to give it all for his Padmavati character for director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The latest buzz says that Ranveer had to bear the pain of total 24 slaps for a sequence in the film. Reportedly, the actor was shooting a sequence with Raza Murad who's playing an important role in the film. Master of perfection that SLB is, kept on asking for various shots to get the one best shot hence Raza Murad had to slap Ranveer 24 times.
Ranveer even confirmed the news on his twitter handle saying, "True story"
