Photos Of Michelle Pfeiffer We Could Never Forget

10. Picky With Her Roles

Her unique features are what made her a favorite among producers and directors in Hollywood. Pfeiffer was actually considered for the role of Clarice in Silence of the Lambs. She turned down the role, however, and it went to Jodie Foster who won an Oscar for it. It would have been interesting to see Pfeiffer in that role and we think she would have done quite well. She may have even been the one to win an Oscar. Pfeiffer said she felt nervous about the subject matter of the film. Not everyone is comfortable with horrors or the creepy nature of a serial killer. Still, we would have loved to have seen her in the role.

9. Embarrassed About Wanting To Act

This sexy siren was the perfect casting choice for Elvira in Scarface! She has the figure of a dancer, and her dresses were very revealing, even for the ’80s. She was a badass character that liked to light up a cigarette back when it was still cool to see people smoking in the movies. She was scared to tell people that she wanted to be an actress originally. “Where I came from, the idea of going into show business was just ridiculous. In fact, I didn’t tell anybody because I knew people would laugh at me. So, I sort of snuck around and got some pictures and got a resume together and, of course, lied and said I did all kinds of things I didn’t do.” We’re so glad that she went for it. Her career in Hollywood speaks for itself.

8. The Painter

This glamourous vixen looks amazing in this sparkly leopard-print dress. Before she was the famous Catwoman, Pfeiffer had regular jobs just like the rest of us. She used to work at Vons supermarket while attending Golden West College, and she was even part of a sorority. She also went to train as a court stenographer but decided to forgo that career to act. Did you know she also painted? “I’ve been painting off and on since I was in sixth grade. I don’t paint when I’m acting — I’m not really able to split my focus that way. I do it intensely when I’m doing it, but I’m reluctant to take myself too seriously as a painter because that would mean there would be pressure to be better than I am.”
