3. Taking Matters Into Her Own Hands
Many people don’t know that Pfeiffer actually adopted her first child on her own before she met her current husband. Her daughter was actually christened on their wedding day. Now, how sweet is that? “The whole celebrity thing never is normal and I think the fuller your life is, the more you are able to just kind of call a truce with it on a good day.”
2. Giving Back
As a famous celeb, Pfeiffer has done her part in giving back. Since her niece suffered from leukaemia, Pfeiffer became a supporter of the American Cancer Society. She loves charity and also became involved in the Humane Society. She knows what it means to be a hard worker no matter what, though. “Acting’s an odd profession for a young person; it’s so extreme. You work, and the conditions are tough and the process is so immersive, and then it stops, and then there’s nothing. So, you have to find ways of making you feel productive when you’re not actually producing anything. For a young person, that’s really challenging.”
1. Life Of The Famous
Pfeiffer has a love-hate relationship with fame and understands there are pros and cons in being part of the industry. “First of all, plain and simple, you have no real idea of what it means to be famous until you become famous. It’s a double-edged sword. Obviously, there are a lot of amazing things about fame, but there are also a lot of challenging things about it.” We love how honest she is about every aspect of her life. We can’t wait to see her in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
