Photos Of Michelle Pfeiffer We Could Never Forget

13. Iconic Role

When it came to playing Catwoman, she had to learn how to use a whip for her scenes and accidentally cut her trainer’s face. We’ve always marvelled at the tight superhero costumes that women have to wear in movies. In the case of Catwoman, her costume was extra tight. The costume cost $1,000 to stitch together by hand, and when she got the costume on, they actually vacuum sealed her inside the suit for her scenes so that it was skin tight. She had to do her scenes quickly, otherwise, the suit would become unbearable to wear. The suit was so tight, in fact, that she couldn’t even hear herself talk and would often shout her lines. She hated the suit and never wanted to see it again after filming.

12. Role Model

Her role of Elvira in Scarface impressed many people and it was one of the reasons why her career took off. While filming the movie, she actually hurt Al Pacino accidentally with a broken piece of glass. Pfeiffer has certainly survived some bumps in the road in her career and she has that innate survivor quality about her. “My grandmother raised five children during the Depression by herself. At 50, she threw her sewing machine into the back of a pickup truck and drove from North Dakota to California. She was a real survivor, so that’s my stock. That’s how I want my kids to be, too.” That’s certainly an inspiring story.

11. Many Talents

That intense look with those gorgeous blue eyes is one of Pfeiffer’s appealing traits. She looks insanely gorgeous in this photo. For her role in The Fabulous Baker Boys, she actually sang in real life. It isn’t the first role in which she sang, but she made sure to get professional assistance and had voice training for two months prior to the filming. The big scene where she sings “Making Whoopee” on Jeff Bridges piano took a whopping six hours to film. That must have been exhausting for her and her vocal cords. She’s always taken the good with the bad gracefully. “I’m a really happy person, I enjoy life. I think you see that on people. I think there’s nothing more aging than misery.”
