Later, his friends took him to Ambala City Civil Hospital. After some treatment, he was sent to PGI, Chandigarh and his limb was removed. 

"It felt like God has stopped answering my prayers and there is no solution to this."

Since amputation happened below the knee, Deepak's parents expected that doctors would re-attach his leg. But they were later informed that his entire leg portion below the hip must be removed. "It was a critical and hard situation for my parents and me. Everything seemed to be a hell through which my family and I were going through; the feeling was indescribable. At that moment nothing was happening in our favour."

"I was sent back home in 15-20 days. And, I had many complaints to God."

After some time, doctors suggested Deepak's parents for buying crutches and also helping him in using them. Deepak was not happy with this decision because he felt helpless and weak. As a change, his parents decided to send him to college for continuing the studies where he had to stay in a hostel. But...
