This Boy Lost His Leg in a Train Accident But Still Plays Cricket And Rides Bike

"At college, every person used to stare at me in such a sympathetic way. So, I started making excuses for not going to the college. I used to stay at the hostel, crying whole day, asking the same questions to myself. I was surrounded by negativity."

"My diploma ended, and by God's grace, I got admission in BTech for graduation."

"A year later, the diploma ended and all my wounds healed. So, I went for an artificial limb treatment. My BTech college was about 2-3 km away from my hostel. Sometimes I used to take rickshaws and sometimes I used to walk. But since my amputation was below the hip, I wasn't able to attend classes for more than 2-3 hours because artificial leg would hurt my body. Even my attendance kept on going short." 

He then decided to use crutches again. And, one day after an argument with one of the classmates, he decided to go back home. 

"Time flew, and I was still in bad shape. I had lost many friends and felt suicidal."

"Then one day I got to know that two of my friends from Diploma were doing Industrial Training in Chandigarh. With their help, I joined the training, and the beautiful and green city changed my life completely."

Since the problem of using artificial leg remained the same, Deepak's friends suggested him to use the crutches. Deepak narrated how his friends supported him to gather the strength to start all over again.
