The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani met Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Amiri Diwan on Tuesday. During the meeting, they discussed the situation in Palestine.
Abbas briefed the Amir on the latest developments in Palestine and thanked the Amir for Qatar’s continous support for the Palestinian cause, for standing with the Palestinian people and help them face difficult circumstances and challenges.
The meeting was attended by a number of ministers and members of the official delegation accompanying the Palestinian president.
Later, the Amir hosted an iftar banquet in honour of the Palestinian president and the delegation accompanying him.
The banquet was attended by a number of ministers.
