Eid holidays announced in Oman

The Eid holidays for the private and government sectors in Oman have been announced by the Oman News Agency.

The private sector will receive three days of holiday from Tuesday, 4 June 2019, to Thursday, 6 June 2019.

“The Eid Al-Fitr holiday for employees of private sector companies and establishments will be effective from Tuesday 29 of Ramadan, 4th of June until the end of Thursday, 6th of June,” said the Oman News Agency

 

For the government sector in Oman, the Eid holidays will begin on Tuesday, June 4 and end on the 3rd of Shawal, which is either on Friday or Saturday. Work for the government sector will resume on Sunday, 9 June 2019.

“Eid Al-Fitr holidays for employees in ministries, public bodies and other units of the administrative apparatus of the state will be from Tuesday 29 of Ramadan, 4 June to the end of the 3rd of Shawwal,” added the Oman News Agency.
