Temperature reaches 43 degrees in Oman

Temperatures have crossed 43 degrees Celsius in some parts of the Sultanate of Oman, the Meteorology Department announced. 

The highest temperature recorded by the authorities on May 14 was in Haima at 43 degrees Celsius followed by Rustaq and Nizwa at 42 degrees.

Muscat, Sur, Ibri and Ibra recorded a temperature of 41 degrees while Buraimi and Suhar saw the heat rise up to 39 degrees. Khasab was at 38 degrees and Masira at 37 degrees.

In addition, Salalah and Saiq recorded the lowest temperature at 32 and 28 degrees, respectively.
