The driver of a vehicle who attempted to flee the scene of an accident has been arrested by Timesofoman.
This occured after the driver's vehicle collided with a sreet light in Sohar after he had been driving in a dangerous manner.
An ROP statement read "the driver of a vehicle has been arrested in the wilayat of Sohar by the Department of Criminal Inquiries and Investigation under the Comand of the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, for colliding with a street light as a result of driving dangerously, before feeing the scene." reported Times of Oman.
The ROP revealed that the search and investigation efforts resulted in the driver's arrest.
