Eid Al Adha holidays for the government and private sector have been announced.

Holidays for the government sector will begin from Sunday, August 19 and will end on Thursday, August 23. Taking the weekend into consideration, work will resume on the following Sunday, August 26, according to Oman News Agency. Meanwhile, holidays for the private sector will also begin on Sunday, August 19, and work will resume on August 26, the Ministry of Manpower announced.

According to the online statement, “The holiday will begin from Sunday, August 19 and will end on Thursday, August 23. Official working hours shall resume on Sunday, August 26, 2018.”

His Excellency Abdullah Al Bakri, Minister of Manpower announced Eid holidays for private sector employees. He said, “Holidays will begin on Sunday, August 19, and end on Thursday, August 23." Work will resume on Sunday, August 26 2018.

The ministry has extended their congratulations to His Majesty on this blessed occasion while praying to Allah the Almighty to protect him, grant him good health, happiness and a long life. They also pray for the return of such occasions for His Majesty, Omani people and all Muslims.
