In the city of dreams Doha, meet the dreamer expat of Qatar

I come from a remote village in Nepal, deep into Himalayan Mountains I dwell, when I was in school I wished I were rich, but now in one of the richest countries I really feel I am growing into one.  Qatar is like a dream country, I have been here for last ten years, though Nepal is my homeland but Qatar is the next best place I could have been in on earth.  As a driver, I have seen big roads and tall building come up every now and then. I have witnessed the changing Qatar right from my cockpit, though I am not a pilot but when I send my salary to my family back home in Nepal I really feel like one. My father was a farmer, we had very limited resources, but now I have my house and I own a ‘luxurious’ car as well.

My family, wife and two daughters are back home; I do drive very carefully on the road. My wife said to me, ‘I love you’ when I gifted her first Smartphone.

Yes,  I am very active on Facebook as well and I do post picture with luxurious cars and my friends do like it.

I have explored every place in Qatar, I don’t shy away from posting my pictures either.

Every two years, I go for a vacation and my friends ask me, how much money have I saved? I know I am not a billionaire but I tell them to come and explore rich state of Qatar

I explore fruits and food, and I have fallen in love with dates, though I had never eaten them before until I came to Qatar but now I help myself to taste them very often in summer.

I have lived my best life in Qatar, I love how my company took care of me all these years, I have worked wholeheartedly and would love to continue working in the same way in future as well. I wish that I own a Range Rover in my Himalayan village, I don’t know if I could ever,  but let me dream big in this dream city.
