The biggest challenge that smartphones companies face is not making phones but to sell enough of them to make a decent profit margin with the high cost of manufacturing. Big companies like Google are also victims of this injustice. When Google launched Google Pixel last year the essential question was, ‘how will Google compete with those like Apple and Samsung?’, the forerunners of the high-end market.
Google 2 launched on Wednesday morning and Google stated that the original Pixel was a critical hit. Did that represent in sales though?
However, Google is taking AI and making it an advantage with hardware that far ahead of Apple. Take, for instance, Google Photos which is way better than Apple’s photo storage cloud. Every Pixel phone has one of these built-in. Google Assistant is lightyears ahead of Siri as does Google Home smart speaker.
Now, this is exciting, Google Pixel Buds, a set of wireless earbuds that are designed to work with Google Pixel 2 phones are going directly up against the Apple's pioneering AirPods.
Seems like a good bet to get one of the Google Pixel 2. Check out enough reviews and unboxing videos before you swipe your card. The world of smartphones is literally taking a sci-fi turn and each is better than the other. Make sure to weigh your options and be ready to spend a lot of time doing it because the options are plenty.
